Sean Griswold

President

Sean calls Durango, Colorado, home, and he lives with his wife and three kids. He is the first employee of Sierra Chemicals, which started in July 1994. Sean purchased Sierra Chemicals in 2005. He hopes to lead in his position as president with empathy and insight from 27 years of industry experience.

Shedrick Lewis

VP of Operations

Shedrick brings over 30 years of dynamic experience in the industrial cleaning industry, excelling in roles across safety, sales, and operations. A proud alumnus of Lamar University with a degree in General Business, Shedrick is dedicated to driving excellence and innovation.

Outside of his professional life, Shedrick is an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves spending quality time with his family and friends. He is also deeply involved in his community, actively participating in local initiatives and volunteer work. His passion for the outdoors, commitment to building strong relationships, and dedication to community service make him a valued leader and team player.

David Navarrete

VP of Sales

David leads our sales division with passion and expertise, having been a dedicated member of the Sierra Chemicals team since he joined in 2017. Growing within Sierra Chemicals, he has advanced to his current role as Vice President of Sales. David brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He is always ready to provide guidance and support for all projects.

Outside of work, David cherishes quality time with his family. His enthusiasm for helping customers find the perfect solutions is matched by his love for fitness and family life. David’s approachable nature and unwavering commitment to excellence make him an invaluable leader and a trusted resource within our company.

Jory Snider

Safety Director

Jory has 20 years of oil and gas industry experience with an MBA from the University of Oklahoma, a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma. Jory holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification from BSI. When not working, Jory enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids, and two dogs. Jory’s hobbies are playing golf and watching OU football.

Michael Nichols

Safety Specialist

Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma. With 3 years of experience in the field, Michaels has dedicated his career to ensuring safety in various environments. Beyond work, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Nancy, and spending time with family. He finds relaxation in playing golf and watching OU football.

Josh McCoy

Field Service Sales Zone 4 – Permian Basin, West Texas, Eastern New Mexico

Josh McCoy graduated from Texas A&M University. He started his career in oil and gas with Sierra Chemicals in 2004 and spent the next 9.5 years chasing gas plants and compressors all over the US. He then worked in many aspects of the oil and gas industry: drilling and solids control, plugging and abandonment, workovers, completions and coil tubing, re-entry projects and whipstocks, fracking and surface equipment, SWDs and water management. He also has had many roles in sales and operations throughout his career before returning to Sierra Chemicals.

Francois Therrien

Field Service Sales Zone 8 – Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky

Francois has been with Sierra Chemicals since January 2022. He received his bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from the University of Akron. When Francois is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies and Football.

Matt Miller

Field Service Sales Zone 7 – North Texas, South Oklahoma And North Louisiana

Matt has been with Sierra Chemicals since 2018. He draws on our excellent safety team, operations team and administrative staff to bring clear and comprehensive solutions to customers’ needs. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and all types of outdoor activities, sports and competition.

KJ Choi

Field Service Sales Zone 2 – North dakota

KJ has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and an associate degree in administration of justice. He is also a welding instructor for classrooms and fields. When not working, he loves traveling with his wife and fishing.

Dustin Arthur

Field Service Sales Zone 5 – San Antonio, south texas, south louisiana

Dustin earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Angelo State University. He has over a dozen years’ experience in oil and gas, mostly in drilling and cementing products. When Dustin is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family watching movies, playing baseball, and doing puzzles. Dustin’s hobbies are fishing, camping, and woodworking.

Adam Smith

Field Service Sales Zone 4 – Permian Basin, West Texas, Eastern New Mexico

Adam Smith is a seasoned professional with close to 20 years of experience in the chemical, oil and gas industry. Originally from a small town in Mississippi, he has developed a strong reputation for expertise and reliability. Outside of work, Adam is a devoted husband and father to two children, and he enjoys creating family memories through activities like skiing. As he embarks on the next step in his career, Adam is eager to apply his extensive experience while continuing to grow both professionally and personally.

Quinn Griswold

Field Service Sales Zone 1/6 – rockies, northern new mexico, colorado

Quinn Griswold holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Innovation and Management, both from Montana State University. At Sierra Chemicals, she is dedicated to managing and expanding client relationships, ensuring projects are executed with precision and efficiency. Outside of work, Quinn enjoys reading, spending time with family, and volunteering with her sorority, reflecting her commitment to both her career and community.

Huber Ortega

Area manager

Huber Ortega began his journey with Sierra Chemicals in 2012 as a dedicated technician. Over the years, his expertise in safety, project management, supervisory skills, and quality control has made him an invaluable asset to our team. Today, Huber serves as the Area Manager for the Rockies Mountain region, where he continues to provide exceptional leadership and mentoring to his crews.

Huber’s areas of expertise include managing heat exchanger, circulation, and water jet cleaning projects. He excels in day-to-day operational management, ensuring projects are completed within client specifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. His commitment to exceptional customer service and effective coordination with managers and technicians ensures timely project completion.

Huber holds numerous certifications, including Safeland PEC Premier, H2S Operations, Forklift Operator, Aerial Lift Operator, and many more. His extensive training and experience make him a trusted leader in the field.

When he’s not guiding his team, Huber enjoys fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending quality time with his family and dogs.

Justin Lewis

Justin has 16+ years of experience in Industrial Cleaning. He currently resides in Ponca City, OK with his wife and their 2 children. During his free time, he enjoys spending time on the lake with his friends and family. What Justin most likes about working at Sierra Chemicals is how friendly and supportive everyone is no matter the position they are in. He is looking forward to working with Sierra Chemicals and furthering his career in industrial cleaning.
